The site describes the services offered and how to get in touch. It is general information, not advice for your situation, and not medical, clinical, legal, or financial advice. Please also read the Disclaimer.

Visiting the site, using the contact form, or sending an email, text, or call does not create a working or professional relationship. A working relationship begins only when you and the company agree to it in writing.

Services are agreed in writing

Scope, schedule, fees, payment, travel, cancellation, and confidentiality for any services are set out in a separate written agreement. If that agreement and these terms disagree, the written agreement controls for the services it covers.

Services for anyone under 18 require the consent of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to the written agreement and these terms on the minor’s behalf.

No particular outcome is promised. Recovery and family situations depend on many things outside anyone’s control, and support can be declined or ended by anyone involved.

Referrals

When another kind of help is the better next step, such as a clinician, a treatment program, or a therapist, we may suggest options. GTH Consulting and Holdings Co LLC does not accept referral fees or any other payment for referring someone to a treatment provider or other professional. Choosing a provider is always your decision.

Emergencies

This website, email, text, and phone are not emergency services and are not monitored around the clock. In an emergency, call 911. In a mental health or substance use crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).

Using the site

Please use the site lawfully. Do not try to disrupt it, gain unauthorized access to it, or use it to send spam or harmful content.

The text, design, and photograph on this site belong to GTH Consulting and Holdings Co LLC or are used with permission. You may share links to the site. Please do not copy or reuse its content or the photograph without written permission.

Links to other sites

The site links to outside sites such as crisis resources and service providers’ policies. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.

The site is provided “as is.” We try to keep it accurate and available, but we do not promise that it is complete, current, error free, or always online.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, GTH Consulting and Holdings Co LLC and its members, employees, and contractors (including Gavin Hassett) are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of this website, and our total liability for any claim about the website is limited to $100. This section does not apply to the services themselves, which are covered by the written agreement, and does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, and you and we consent to those courts’ jurisdiction. Either party may bring a qualifying claim in small claims (justice) court.

Severability

If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies.
